Professor D
This is my REAL job! Variety band based in Dallas-Ft Worth. See promo video, gig calendar, get booking info, read bio's, and lots more cool stuff!
Toby Keith
Well - I figure I better put him on here being as he employs several friends of mine!! Heehee! You know Toby for crying out loud - he's AWESOME! My best friend plays trumpet for him - Willie Roy, Jr! And several other friends play in the band as well including Joey Floyd who is kind enough to let me crash at his house in Nashville when I'm there 1-3 times per month! My favorite thing about Toby is he does what HE wants to do. Nashville might argue with his methods - but they can't argue with his success, eh?!? Amen.
Jon Christopher Davis
Jon is a super-talented country music and Texas music writer/artist who was a staff writer in Nashville for years. He's had cuts by Dolly Parton, Hal Ketchum, Tammy Cochran, Sherrie Austin, Billy Ray Cyrus and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles!! He's had his own songs spend more than 25 weeks in the Texas Top 40! He now lives in the Dallas area again and plays around here on a regular basis - so go check him out!
Sonny Burgess - Country Singer/Songwriter
Sonny is a Texas boy and the next big traditional country star methinks. Great voice - great guy - and a super talented and motivated organization around him. Produced by Jeff Teague on Nashville's CPI Records - his new album just got a spectacular review from the Dallas Morning News - and deserves it! Check him out y'all!
Jimmy George
Jimmy wrote "Just To See Her" by Smokey Robinson and "I'll Always Love You" by Taylor Dayne among many, many hits. We've been friends for over 10 years now since we met at SXSW in Austin way back when. He also produced the Commodores and George Benson, plus he played guitar for Motown! He's crazy (in a good way,) he's in love with Lisa Carver (like every other single man in Nashville,) and super-talented. Like Big and Rich says - he's living in the "big time!"
Rick Beresford - Hit Writer and Songwriting Guru
Rick is a great writer - he wrote "If Drinkin' Don't Kill Me, Her Memory Will" for George Jones and has cuts with dozens of other artists! Plus, I discovered at a LIVE performance in October that he's about the most soulful white boy in Nashville - singing-wise! Unbelieveable. And for all aspiring songwriters everywhere - he's a GREAT teacher of the craft! You can hire him over the phone, by mail, in person - whatever! All the info is on his website!
Wendy Jans - Singer/Songwriter
Ooooo - she's baaaaaad! Great songs - great voice! You'll dig it! She has a GREAT song about Saturday afternoon, another great song called "Sippin' on Summertime" (my personal favorite so far,) and one called "Everybody's Got a Picture" that is hilarious - to me anyways! She's got a ton of great tunes but those are just a few!
Tom Flanery - songwriter
You haven't heard of this guy yet but you should have! He is a GREAT writer and has the world's absolute best bass-fishing song EVER! Seriously! You probably haven't heard of him because he doesn't live in Nashville (yet) but rather down here in Sherman, Texas. No matter - he'll have hits on the radio before too long so listen up!
Bob Neace - Songwriter and Nashville Star Regional Finalist
Bob is a very talented songwriter, performer, and singer that I met in Nashville and we have written 2 songs together so far. He's from the same background as me - playing in cover bands for 20 years full-time. Great guy!
Tom Faulkner
Oh my goodness - this guy is too cool! He's got a GREAT voice, a really cool and unquie style AND he's a GREAT player. We did our first round together in December in Dallas and his songs were just awesome.
Rich Malloy - drummer!
Rich just made the big move to Nashville in January 2006 and he's a great drummer and great guy. Super easy to work with and talented. You'll be seeing him all over town in no time! Plus - he's nice enough to come out and play for me every now and then when I have shows in Nashville! Yeah babeeee!!
