Scott Sean White is a touring singer-songwriter who has had several songs recorded by country superstar Cody Johnson - two on Cody’s album “Human” - including “God Bless the Boy” and “Made a Home,” and one called “Over Missing You” on the deluxe version of “Leather.” He has also had several songs recored by Bryan Martin as well, including “Years in the Making,” “Poets and Old Souls,” "Easier Bein' Me," and “Wishbone.”

Scott puts almost 60,000 miles a year on his car, playing 120-150 shows a year, all over the country - at house concerts, listening rooms, and even some churches. He is a storyteller, both in his songs, and the moments in between songs, laying out his life experience - his faith and struggles - and intertwining it all with his craft. His live show is starkly honest, transparent, and eye-opening - full of belly laughs, and probably a few tears, too...

"The night was amazing and more magical than I could imagine. His storytelling through songwriting will move your heart and soul."

  • Shannon, Flower Mound, TX

"The neighbors and friends we invited over are still talking about how good the concert was. And the stories Scott tells about each song . . . Unbelievable! Can’t wait to find a time to have him back in Alabama. War Eagle!"

  • Andy, Lake Martin, AL

Scott makes his home these days in Poetry, Texas, a perfectly named little town for a songwriter’s songwriter. His critically acclaimed debut album, "Call It Even," came out in April 2021, and his second album - “Even Better On the Bad Days,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer-songwriter chart in January 2024. The reviews on "Even Better On The Bad Days" have also been stellar…

“There isn’t a weak song in the bunch, not a sour note or blemish on a pear. The compositions have relevance. No filler. Great album, period.”

- John Apice, Americana Highways

“It’s as if Fred Eaglesmith and Jeff Black went out drinking together and stayed up all night talking, drinking sweet tea, and writing. Right? Vulnerable, gutsy, and intellectually sharp.”

- Marilyn Rea Beyer, host of Midnight Special, WFMT Chicago
